HorseTalk offers a traditional Speech-Language and Voice Pathology office setting in Bedford to evaluate and treat children and adults in individual and group sessions.
Medical insurance companies are billed for services rendered as a courtesy to patients. A sliding fee scale is offered to patients who qualify. Scholarship programs and free clinics may be available throughout the year. Hippotherapy offers as standard practice the following amenities:
- active and regular parent interaction
- free parent consultations throughout the course of treatment
- specific goals set and addressed at each session
- formal updates written every three months
- appointment offerings late in the day
- easy and fast access to clincians via telephone and email
Hippotherapy services are provided at Not E Nuff Farm located in Weare, NH. This facility offers a comfortable setting with a temperature controlled arena, heated waiting area and easy to access facilities for both children and parents. Hippotherapy operates all year long.
Co-treatments utilizing the Speech-Language Therapist and the Occupational Therapist are available and are the most effective way to treat the patient with simultaneous input by two professionals.
Therapeutic riding services are currently in session. Therapeutic riding is a recreational activity for challenged students to learn about horsemanship, grooming and riding skills. This program is offered all year long with appointments available on weekdays. Toby Freeman is a NARHA certified Riding Instructor.
